At Riverside Relics, we are passionate about creating high-quality, reliable products that enhance your experience on the water. We proudly stand behind the materials and workmanship of everything we make. This warranty is our promise to you that the gear you purchase is free from manufacturing defects and meets the high standards you expect from us.

Warranty Coverage by Product Category

To provide the clearest policy, our warranty is based on the type of product.

Apparel & Bags: 1-Year Limited Warranty

All of our apparel (including Performance Shirts, Button-Up Shirts, T-Shirts, and Polos) and Bags & Storage products are covered by a one (1) year limited warranty.

  • What's Covered: This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship that appear within one year from the original date of purchase. This includes issues like seam failures, faulty zippers, or broken buckles that are a result of the manufacturing process.
  • Who is Covered: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and requires a valid proof of purchase (such as an order number or receipt) from Riverside Relics or an authorized retailer.

Lines, Leaders, & Lures: Defect on Arrival Guarantee

Due to the nature of their use, our consumable tackle items—including fishing lines, leaders, and lures—are not covered by a time-based warranty. These items are designed to withstand battles with fish and harsh conditions, but they can be lost, damaged, or worn out during normal fishing activities.

  • What's Covered: We will gladly replace any of these items if they have a clear manufacturing defect upon arrival. This includes a lure with a missing eye, a malformed part, or a spool of line that is clearly defective before it has been used.
  • Timeframe: You must report any defect on these items within 14 days of receiving your order.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

It's important to be clear about what falls outside of our warranty policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Fading colors, fabric abrasion, and the general breakdown of materials over extended time and use.
  • Accidents: Rips, tears, punctures, burns, or stains caused by user accidents.
  • Improper Care or Neglect: Damage resulting from failure to follow the guidelines on our Product Care page, such as using fabric softener on performance apparel or storing a wet tackle bag.
  • Unauthorized Alterations or Repairs: Any modifications made to the product by the user.
  • Environmental Damage: Damage from prolonged UV exposure, saltwater corrosion due to lack of cleaning, or improper storage.
  • Lost or Stolen Items: No warranty is provided for lost or stolen items.

The Warranty Process: How to File a Claim

We aim to make this process as simple and transparent as possible. To initiate a warranty claim, please send a single email to our support team with all of the information listed below.

To help us process your claim as quickly as possible, please include the following in your email:

  1. Your Full Name and Order Number: If you do not have your order number, please provide proof of purchase (like a screenshot of your order confirmation).
  2. Product Name: The name of the item that has an issue.
  3. A Clear Explanation of the Issue: Please describe the problem in detail. How did it happen? When did you first notice it?
  4. Clear Photos of the Defect: Please attach:
    • One (1) photo showing the entire product.
    • One or two (1-2) close-up photos clearly showing the specific defect or issue.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your claim, our warranty team will carefully review the details and photos you provided. Please allow 5-7 business days for this evaluation.

If your claim is approved, we will contact you directly with the resolution, which, at our discretion, will be one of the following:

  • Repair the defective product.
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable item.
  • Issue a store credit for the original purchase price.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Riverside Relics. We disclaim all other express or implied warranties. The remedies provided herein are the sole and exclusive remedies available. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
